Who We Are

Kathy Hamilton has been a part of the diocesan staff for 20 years. As Canon for Youth and Young Adults, she plans and oversees youth and young adult conferences and retreats, supports youth leaders and their programs in the congregations and regions, provides training for youth leaders and conference staff volunteers, provides pastoral and counseling support to staff and youth and assists them in locating the proper resources for critical concerns. Kathy is called to be a supportive member of the bishop’s staff and attend staff retreats and meetings, participates on national and provincial church levels representing youth and young adult ministries as appropriate. She also serves as the coordinator for support services for Diocesan Convention, overseeing the youth presence, youth and adult pages/tellers team, the balloting and elections and any behind-the-scenes needs that arise during the convention.
