Monthly Taizé Service

Join this peaceful prayer service in the candlelit Chapel. Taizé music is beautiful, simple, repetitive chant sung as a prayer. We sing with the help of a piano and a cantor, say a few prayers, and sit together in a period of silence in the middle of the service. Some people sing and others just rest in the beauty of the experience.

This conference will share information on the relationship between what we eat and the environment, practical ideas, and inspiration to make positive change. Keynote speaker is Brian Sellers-Peterson, Missioner for Agrarian Ministry and author: Harvesting Abundance: Local Initiatives of Food and Faith. Panel discussion will feature local people involved in community feeding programs in an environmentally friendly way. Workshops include: Health and Environmental Effects of Plastic Food Packaging, Backyard Bees, and How to start a Church or Community Garden.
