DESCRIPTION:March 8\, 4:30 – 6:00 pm \nThe Sopranos and Altos of the St. Luke’s Chancel Choir will sing a service of Choral Evensong for the Third Sunday in Lent. The service will feature music for treble voices by Louise Reid\, Herbert Howells\, and Malcolm Archer. Following the service\, Dr. Gwynne Brown\, Professor of Music at University of Puget Sound\, will perform a short piano recital on St. Luke’s Steinway B grand piano\, featuring works by Scott Joplin\, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor\, Florence Price\, and Betty Jackson King.
