Doing Justice: Israel/Palestine
November 13, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

The Bishop’s Committee for Justice and Peace in the Holy Land believes that peace in Israel/Palestine cannot exist without justice for all – Israelis and Palestinians, Jews, Muslims, and Christians – and has invited six experts to explore why and how we, as American citizens, must seek effective ways to end the Israeli occupation of Palestine.
Present daily living conditions for Palestinians living in Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza and the legal framework that permits an apartheid system of discriminatory practices and the denial of basic human rights will be examined, along with the costs of maintaining the status quo and its harm to immediate and long-term US, Palestinian, and Israeli interests. Also addressed will be the challenge for the Children of Abraham today and how each of us can make a difference.
“Doing Justice: Israel/Palestine” will be live-streamed for those unable to attend this in-person event. Lunch will be included for those in attendance at St. Mark’s Cathedral. On-line registration is at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/doing-justice-israelpalestine-tickets-189991849737. For more details about the seminar, go to www.holylandjustice.org.
