On Sunday, May 29, St. Augustine’s is honored to have the national Executive Director of the Episcopal Peace Fellowship, Melanie Merkle Atha, preaching at the 8:00 and 10:30 services. The national Episcopal Peace Fellowship is governed by an Executive Council and Executive Director. The St. Augustine’s Episcopal Peace Fellowship has been a chapter of the national EPF since 2005. Executive Director Atha’s visit will be an opportunity to learn more about the Episcopal Peace Fellowship and its peace and justice advocacy. St. Augustine EPF members will meet with Ms Atha following the 10:30 service. One does not need to be a card carrying EPF member to attend. Only requirements are an inquiring and questioning mindset.
