DESCRIPTION:September 26\, 9:00 am \n\nSt. Nicholas Building of Saint Mark’s Cathedral\nLed by the Rev. Canon Emily Griffin and Joy Studer\, Licensed Godly Play Trainers \nThrough a collaboration between the Diocese of Olympia and Saint Mark’s Cathedral\, we are pleased to offer a workshop day for all: those who are new to this methodology and those who have been practicing for a long time. Join us for a day of learning\, community building\, and sharing best practices. After a full Godly Play session together\, we’ll offer an introductory track for new storytellers and doorpersons and a second track for those seeking to deepen their practice – with a focus on newer stories (such as the Lord’s Prayer and the Psalms) and tips for engaging older children. We’ll conclude the day together with a reflection on children’s spirituality and resources for parents and other caregivers. \nRegistration required: https://bcrook.wufoo.com/forms/zvppc3z1jje11r/\n$35/person includes continental breakfast and lunch.
