Pan-African churches are some of the fastest growing in our diocese. Join our African congregations and ecumenical friends from around the US and the African continent to celebrate and share our diverse cultures and ministry contexts. The Office of Multicultural Ministries & Community Transformation invites all of the diocese to this exciting two-day event!
Tentative Schedule:
Saturday, 11/9 | 415 Westlake, Seattle, WA
• 9:30 am – Check in, coffee
• 10:00 am – Opening Eucharist & Welcome
• 12:30 pm – Lunch (provided)
• 1:30-4:00 pm – Cultural Sharing*
• 5:30 pm – Formal Dinner & Closing (donation suggested)
There will be time for churches and individuals to share their culture’s gifts of music, dancing, textiles, etc. Sign-up on the registration below!
Parking at 415 Westlake: there are a few spots in front of the building in a lot along Westlake, or in the larger lot accessible from the alley between Republican St. and Harrison St. There is also garage parking accessible from the alley (closer to Republican St.) which can be paid upon leaving the garage ($5 weekend fee). If you’d like reimbursement, please turn in your receipt.

• 1:00-3:00 pm – African Ministries Worship Service (Eucharist & Potluck) @ St. Michael’s South Sudanese, Auburn
• 4:00-6:00 pm @ St. John South Sudanese, Tukwila
We invite you to consider attending one of our African congregations for this weekend or any time! Many of our congregations will be worshiping with St. Michael’s in Auburn for their 1 pm service. We invite you to stay after and bring a potluck item to share!
