On November 5, 2023, Sister Joan Chittister, OSB, one of the most influential religious and social leaders of our time and a passionate advocate for peace, human rights, women’s issues, and church renewal, will speak at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Seattle. She will lecture on her newest book, “The Time is Now: A Call to Uncommon Courage”.

On November 5, Sister Joan Chittister, a member of the Benedictine Sisters of Erie, PA and noted international lecturer, is one of the most influential religious and social leaders of our time. She’ll talk about her new book “The Time is Now: A Call to Uncommon Courage” at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Seattle. A book signing and photo opportunity follows the event.

Sister Joan writes for the National Catholic Reporter and Huffington Post. She’s appeared on Oprah’s Soul Sunday, Meet the Press, 60 Minutes, Now with Bill Moyers, and many other programs.
