DESCRIPTION:February 2\, 6:00 – 8:00 pm \nAll are invited to the screening and panelist discussion for the Seattle-based documentary Ultimate Citizens—a celebration of resilience and a vision of a more welcoming America. The film follows Jamshid Khajavi\, an extraordinary 65-year-old Iranian American public school counselor\, as he mentors an ultimate frisbee team—many of the youth from immigrant and refugee families. \nThis event is sponsored by the Diocese of Olympia’s Office of Multicultural Ministries and Community Transformation and Refugee Resettlement Office (RRO)\, in partnership with the Meaningful Movies Project.
