SUMMARY:CCD Saturdays 2026-27 - Year A
DESCRIPTION:September 19\, October 17\, November 21\, January 9\, & February 6\n8:30 am to 4:00 pm \nLunch and light breakfast provided \nFor those who prefer\, we offer a Five-Saturday option to attend the College for Congregational Development beginning every Fall. The content and practice are the same as our week-long summer intensives. While the week-long Summer experience is rewarding\, we know that taking that much time off can be a challenge\, so hopefully this provides a more accessible alternative for some. \nThis year\, our Saturdays will cover Year A of our curriculum. Year A focuses on the spiritual life\, self‑awareness\, and internal capacity of congregational leaders and communities\, establishing the theological and relational foundations necessary for effective congregational development and adaptive change. Participants will work on facilitation skills\, transformational listening processes\, organizational systems\, understanding who they are as leaders\, trust building\, conflict management\, and sustainability. \nCost of participating is:\n$750/person or $700/person if you come as part of a team\nTuition assistance is available if needed \nPlease reach out to Matt Koski (mkoski@ecww.org) with any questions.

DESCRIPTION:Fridays\, starting September 19\, 12:00 pm \n$20 Suggested Donation to Sacred Waters \nWeekly Online Interspiritual Group Contemplative Practices beginning Friday\, September 19\, via Zoom. Welcoming Prayer meets Fridays from 12:00pm PT to 12:30pm PT. Centering Prayer meets Fridays from 12:30pm PT to approximately 1:00pm PT. Fee: $20/month for either or both sessions. SUMMARY:Weekly Online Welcoming & Centering & Prayer
DESCRIPTION:Fridays\, starting September 19\, 12:00 pm \n$20 Suggested Donation to Sacred Waters \nWeekly Online Interspiritual Group Contemplative Practices beginning Friday\, September 19\, via Zoom. Welcoming Prayer meets Fridays from 12:00pm PT to 12:30pm PT. Centering Prayer meets Fridays from 12:30pm PT to approximately 1:00pm PT. Fee: $20/month for either or both sessions. Register to receive the Zoom link. \nThough contemplative practices are often thought of as solitary endeavors\, community is a very important component in supporting our individual intentions. Whether you’re an experienced contemplative or just starting to engage\, you’re welcome to join in! \nWelcoming Prayer is a method of consenting to God’s presence and action in our physical and emotional reactions to events and situations in daily life. The purpose of the Welcoming Prayer is to deepen our relationship with God through consenting in the ordinary activities of our day — “consent-on-the-go.” \nCentering Prayer is a receptive method of silent prayer that prepares us to receive the gift of contemplative prayer\, prayer in which we experience God’s presence within us\, closer than breathing\, closer than thinking\, closer than consciousness itself. \nFacilitator: Sylvia Sepulveda is a longtime longtime practitioner\, organizer\, and facilitator of contemplative group practices. She offers spiritual direction\, dreamwork\, retreats\, and art-based workshops through Secret Garden Practices (https://secretgardenpractices.com/).

SUMMARY:Decolonizing Evangelism: Reclaiming Evangelism for the Gospel of Jesus Christ
DESCRIPTION:April 19\, 11:45 am \nEvangelism has been used as a tool of power and colonization for much of history. In this class\, St. Andrew’s will seek to reclaim the kind of Evangelism that Jesus calls us to live out in the Gospels. They will explore what our own experiences of Evangelism have been\, what our baptismal covenant and the Bible say about Evangelism\, and explore what this may look like in our own lives and ministries. Questions? Contact Megan McInnis\, St. Andrew’s Director of Formation\, meganm@saintandrewsseattle.org

SUMMARY:Come As You Are Eucharist
DESCRIPTION:Sundays\, 4:30 pm \nThe Come As You Are service is casual and welcoming. While it follows the structure of Anglican liturgy\, it’s designed for those who may have a hard time sitting still\, whether you’re a toddler or an octogenarian. This service creates opportunities for all to participate in worship\, either by moving between prayer stations\, hearing the Gospel told in story form\, engaging in an interactive sermon\, or gathering around the altar. It’s for people who have never been to church before\, and for anyone seeking a place to belong.

SUMMARY:Choral Evensong
DESCRIPTION:Sung at the close of day in Cathedrals and churches throughout the world\, Choral Evensong is a service of Evening Prayer\, derived from the ancient offices of Vespers and Compline. The choir sings the traditional evening prayers of the church that have been offered for centuries\, while the congregation listens\, joins in the hymns\, and adds their own prayers to those of the choir. It is an opportunity for peaceful meditation in the midst of a busy week. \nEvery Sunday at 5:30 pm. \nFollowed by a reception.
