Bishop's Taskforce to the Unhoused

The Bishop's Taskforce to the Unhoused, established in 2019, is a group of dedicated lay and ordained people tasked with finding best practices to mitigate the crisis of homelessness in our region. We aim to build a knowledge base of resources that can be deployed throughout the diocese and that will guide parishes in their outreach ministries.

Creation Care & Climate Justice

Creation Care and Climate Justice is an important ministry in our diocese with longstanding history and expressions across churches, regions, and types of ministry. We'll have resources, books, and other information to take with you and back to your faith communities!

Order of Daughters of the King

Members of The Order of the Daughters of the KingĀ® are women and girls between the ages of seven and one hundred and seven who desire a closer walk with the Lord. We are Christian women, both lay and ordained, who are strengthened through the discipline of a Rule of Life and supported through the companionship of our sisters. We are all at different stages of our Christian journey - some have just begun, and some have been on this path for a long time. But no matter where we are on our sacred journeys, our primary goal is the same - to know Jesus Christ and to make Him known to others.
Our Rule of Life
A rule of life is a self-imposed spiritual discipline practiced daily by an individual. It includes regular and seasonal devotions, both private and public, and is a commitment intelligently and prayerfully considered. A rule of life sets apart an order from other church organizations.

Paths to Understanding

Paths to Understanding bridges bias and builds unity. We bring groups and individuals together to recognize each other as human beings and build organic relationships. We offer toolkits to support congregations and other non-profits to address the crisis of loneliness, group segregation, and the loss of trust these create. PTU is creating youth programs in Western Washington and has a robust podcast and YouTube presence in which we bring together people of diverse wisdom traditions to reflect on the issues of our day. We are happy to consult with congregations across Washington State and across the nation.

Resource Center, Diocese of Olympia

The Diocesan Resource Center is a lending library serving congregations, programs and individuals in the Diocese of Olympia. We provide books, DVDs and some curriculum for adults and children. Users are
welcome in the library during regular building hours, or we mail books to them.

The Sacred Waters Center

The Episcopal Diocese of Olympia stands at a transformative moment to expand our missional capacity and deepen our commitment to healing and wholeness, racial equity and creation care. The 13.5 acre property adjacent to St. Andrew's House, which has hosted the wellness center known as Harmony Hill for almost 40 years, has been acquired through a generous donation. This property offers the facilities and spaces to expand our mission of hospitality toward the cultivation of creative practices in racial and environmental justice, prayer and community. The existing ministries of MultiCultural Ministries, Creation Care, Harmony Hill and St. Andrew's House are coming together on the beautiful Hood Canal to develop this new collaborative mission, which combined with the St. Andrew's House facilities, will form The Sacred Waters Center for Restoration and Retreat.

Seattle Seafarers Center

The Seattle Seafarers Center (Mission to Seafarers) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which is an ecumenical partnership between the Episcopal Diocese of Olympia, the Catholic Archdiocese of Seattle, and the ELCA Northwest Washington Synod. Our mission is to welcome and care for seafarers berthing in Puget Sound.

Underhill House

Underhill House is a place for contemplation, reflection and active listening off the streets of Capitol Hill in Seattle. We seek to engage those who wish to participate in the many facets that this ministry offers.
