Practicing the Presence of God with Brother Lawrence: A Contemplative Lenten Retreat, March 4 – 7, 2024, St Andrew’s Retreat House

You are invited to come enjoy a time of rest, prayer and reflection in the beauty of St Andrew’s House on Hood Canal. During this mostly silent Lenten retreat we will learn from Brother Lawrence how to “practice the presence of God.” The retreat is designed to nourish our souls during our Lenten journey to new life in Christ at Easter. Brother Lawrence will be our guide.

The retreat will be led by Paul Rietmann: a retired Episcopal priest, spiritual director, retreat leader and an active member of the St. Andrew’s House community. Paul is the author of Jesus and Buddha Meet in Stillness: A Beginner’s Guide to Mindfulness Meditation and Contemplative Prayer.
