On the First Sunday after Christmas, a service of Lessons and Carols for Peace and Justice invites us into a time of reflection, prayer, and inspiration as to how we can be provocateurs of love and agents of transformation in a world increasingly filled with hate speech, fear mongering, bigotry, and violence. The Way of Love reminds us that while the great message of Christmas is “Peace on Earth”, we still have much work to do toward growing in our respect for others and our shared sense of dignity.
