In 1973, the Episcopal Church’s General Convention voted not to ordain women to the priesthood. In 1974, eleven women were ordained as Episcopal priests in Philadelphia. This documentary is about the courage and faith of these eleven women and their struggle, and that of their supporters, to open the priesthood to all women.
