The annual Diocesan confirmation series brings teens together from across Western Washington to explore the Episcopal faith, culminating with a confirmation service at Cathedral Day (April 27). It’s a great option for churches that are not hosting their own confirmation series for teens.

Youth will meet virtually on Sunday evenings, February 4 – April 21, and will work their way through a set curriculum but will have the opportunity to ask tough questions and grapple with their own understanding of what they believe and why.

All youth, ages 13 to 18 (seniors in high school) are invited and welcome to participate. We will feature different guest speakers each Sunday, including clergy, lay leaders, and faith formation staff from across the Diocese.

The History of the Bible
The Nicene Creed
The Lord’s Prayer
The Book of Common Prayer
The Sacraments
World Religions

We will also have a core team of adult leaders who will be part of the classes each week to help facilitate breakout sessions and small group conversations. We recognize how important it is to have consistency and familiar faces in order to establish a strong community along this journey.
