Bringing the Global Local: COP27 and What We Can Do About Climate Change

Interested in COP27, or don’t know what that means at all? Join with others from across the diocese to learn about the most recent Council of Parties (COP) via the experiences of two members of our diocese who attended in November. We’ll hear from John Kydd, Missioner for Climate Justice and member of the Episcopal Church’s delegation, as well as Lisa Graumlich, climate scientist, current AGU President, dean emerita of UW’s College of the Environment, and diaconate postulant.

There will also be time to learn about diocesan Creation Care efforts and ways to get connected to others doing this vital work across the diocese. A follow up discussion will occur 4/19 covering Local Climate Action and ways to get involved.
