Covenant of the Salmon People — Film Screening & Community Conversation

We invite you to view the documentary, Covenant of the Salmon People, on your own, any time between Wednesday, May 8, and Tuesday, May 14, when we will host a virtual panel discussion and community conversation on efforts to protect salmon by the Nez Perce tribe and locally in WA.
Covenant of the Salmon People (60 minutes) is a portrait of the Nez Perce Tribe as they continue to carry out their ancient promise to protect the Chinook salmon. The film explores the intertwined fate of the Nimiipuu (Nez Perce), salmon, and the landscape from which both evolved.
A follow-up panel discussion and community conversation will take place via Zoom on Tuesday, May 14 from 6:30-8:00 pm. Stay tuned for panelists and their bios!
