Holy Hikes are a great way to get outside and meet others from our extended faith community who love the outdoors. We gather on trails up and down the I-5 corridor for a guided hike and to share readings from scripture, prayers, conversation, and time for reflection.
For this month’s Holy Hike, we’ll explore Hamlin Park. For starters, the park’s main trail is wheelchair accessible and just half a mile long. We can also access the numerous trails throughout the woods that wind and weave between 100-year-old trees and impressive forest staircases.
Before you head home, we’ll check out the two cannons in the park! They were originally mounted on the cruiser USS Boston, launched in 1884.
