Bryan Krislock has over 20 years of experience in canonical review, church governance, and Episcopal polity. A practicing attorney for the past 13 years, he is based in Kirkland, Washington, where his real estate and business law practice focuses on transactions, acquisitions, development, leasing, and complex disputes.

His service to the Episcopal Church began in 2000 as a member of the Official Youth Presence at General Convention. He later served for eight years on the Executive Council, including on the Administration & Finance and Governance & Administration for Mission committees. Following that, he chaired the Church’s Joint Audit Committee for seven years.

Bryan currently chairs the Joint Standing Committee on Planning and Arrangements for the General Convention and has served as a deputy. He has been Parliamentarian of the House of Deputies for four General Conventions under two Presidents, and for the Diocese of Olympia’s annual convention. He has served as Vice Chancellor since 2019 and before law school worked on diocesan staff in Spokane in communications, operations, and camp ministry.

He brings deep expertise in the Constitution and Canons of the Episcopal Church and led the full rewrite of the House of Deputies Rules of Order. He has served on numerous national task forces and committees and locally on the Diocese of Olympia’s Constitution and Canons Committee.

His formation has been shaped by campus ministry at St. Paul’s, Bellingham, and his involvement at St. Paul’s, Seattle, and Saint Mark’s Cathedral. He is deeply committed to the mission, governance, and life of the Church.
