The Library is open during regular Diocesan House hours. You are invited to browse our collection and select books to check out on the spot. If you would prefer, we will be glad to send materials to you by mail.

The Diocesan Library is a lending library serving congregations, programs and individuals in the Diocese of Olympia. Our focus is to support the mission, vision and initiatives of the diocese and the wider Episcopal church, including the current reading lists for the College for Congregational Development (CCD), the Iona Olympia School and Education for Ministry (EfM).
We are physically located on the lower level in Diocesan House in Seattle, and you are invited to visit and browse during the building’s open hours, to pick up reserves here, and to explore our collection in depth. Or, you can explore the collection online and we are happy to mail materials to you.
Our book and DVD collections can be accessed through our online catalog, and registered users may reserve and renew materials online as well. In addition, a conversation with the librarian may suggest additional materials or approaches to a search. To register for library use, please complete this application.
The Diocesan Library maintains a database of publications by authors who live and write in the Diocese of Olympia or are associated with the diocese. You may add your publication through this form.
The Library curates small traveling collections, such as the one pictured above, at a variety of diocesan events (such as Diocesan Convention, Convene and at various workshops) and material may be checked out there.
