Communications and Social Media Speciaist

The Rev. Elizabeth Riley is delighted to join the diocese staff as a part-time communications and social media specialist. She brings extensive experience and enthusiasm for digital evangelism. In addition to managing diocesan social media accounts, Elizabeth will be exploring ways to strengthen diocesan communication and to support congregational communication needs. She will be working closely with Josh Hornbeck, Canon for Communications, and Greg Hester, Coordinator for Graphic Design and Video Production, in bringing to life the stories of our diocese.

Elizabeth’s background includes social media management for the Episcopal Church, and she is a published author of the book Rage Prayers. She is a fellow with the Episcopal Church Foundation with a focus in digital evangelism, and she is also a Leader’s Way Fellow with the Berkeley Divinity School at Yale in adaptive leadership. She has over 100K followers across her social media accounts, where she shares about faith as @TheRevRiley. Elizabeth has served in the diocese since 2018 and is currently the rector at St. Dunstan’s Church in Shoreline.
