Holy Conversations Have Been Completed!
Over the past month of August, 24 in-person and Zoom Holy Conversations hosted by various
churches are now finished. A huge “thank you” to our hosts and to everyone who participated in one of
those events and shared your hopes and desires for our next bishop. You still have one day left
(the deadline is September 2) to complete the online Holy Conversation form for those of you who were not able to attend one of the in-person sessions and have information you want to share with us about our next bishop.
Your feedback will be invaluable to the next steps in our process. The committee plans to share some of
what we heard from you in the near future.
The Holy Cow Survey Is Now Closed!
Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the online survey. The additional information
gleaned by the survey will further enhance the information gathered in the Holy Conversations.
What’s Up Next for the Bishop Search Committee over the Next Two Months?
Month of September
The committee is continuing to review the feedback information coming in this past week from the Holy
Conversation online form submissions. The data will be collated and given to the Profile Sub-committee
who will take the key feedback and incorporate it into the profile. The diocesan profile will be
completed and approved by the Joint Board.
October 15 – November 15
The profile will be posted online with applications from interested candidates being received by
November 15. If there is a priest anywhere in the Church whom you’d like to encourage applying, please
talk with them! Share the profile. And please pray for all those who will become candidates in our
search for the next bishop.
