Being Intergenerational: A Lunch-Hour Conversation with Dr. Valerie Grissom

March 26, 12:00 pm

  • Are you trying to make the shift to a truly intergenerational congregation?
  • Are you looking for the best programs and techniques for working with all ages together?
  • Are you trying to convince others that this shift could be transformative for all involved?
  • Are you looking for examples of how intergenerational ministry really works?

Join others from around the Diocese for a lunchtime conversation with Dr. Valerie Grissom, a pastor (in the Presbyterian Church, USA), author, speaker, coach and mentor. Valerie has pulled together faith practitioners from around the country as contributors to her book All Ages Becoming: Intergenerational Practice in the Formation of God’s People, a comprehensive look at the challenges and benefits of this work.

Bring your curiosity and questions but we also invite you to share about the intergenerational practices that are already working in your congregation.

This event is free and we will mail you a copy of Valerie’s book with your registration.
Questions? Reach out to (another) Valerie: Valerie Reinke, Canon Missioner for Faith Formation, at the Diocese of Olympia: vreinke@ecww.org.

Hosted by Diocesan Children, Youth & Their Families Ministry Leadership.
