Join Bellevue College President David May, Seattle artist and activist Erin Shigaki, and Stan Shikuma with the Japanese American Citizens League and Tsuru for Solidarity in the unveiling of the permanent installation of the “Never Again is Now” art mural. This milestone seeks to honor the history and lived experiences of Japanese Americans incarcerated during World War II. The permanent piece will also include historical information on the impact WWII and Japanese incarceration had on Japanese immigrants in the Pacific Northwest.
Ceremony details: Bellevue College 3000 Landerholm Circle SE, Fountain Courtyard, near C & D Bldgs. Parking for visitors in Lot 14, overflow Lot 13.
