It is a time of transition within our diocese, and we have new a clergy transition to announce.
The Rev. Annie Calhoun has accepted a call as vicar of St. Anne’s, Washougal.
Annie Calhoun was ordained in 2014 and served at Trinity Episcopal Church in Orange, CA as the associate rector. She worked in all areas of the church including pastoral care, developing stewardship programs, congregational education, and children and youth ministry. She also served as a member of the dean’s advisory board for Chapman University’s Fish Interfaith Chapel. Annie is a graduate of UC Irvine, Bloy House – The Episcopal School in Los Angeles, and has an M.Div. from Claremont School of Theology.
Prior to ministry she was in University Publishing sales and management in Southern California. Annie has taught sailing for UCI and ran a summer boating camp for the City of Newport Beach.
She’s excited to be living in the Pacific Northwest to be near family in Portland and Seattle. Her Golden Retriever, fondly called Pastor Buddy by the people at Trinity, has moved with her.
Please join us in welcoming Rev. Calhoun to the diocese and keep all congregations experiencing transition in your prayers.
