It is a time of transition within our Diocese, and we have a new clergy transition to announce.

We are pleased to announce that The Rev. James Wyatt has been called as vicar of Faith, Poulsbo.
James’s vocational journey has been a long and winding road, from United Methodist ministry in southeastern Ohio in the mid-90s through a 25-year career as a writer and game designer working on Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering. After joining St. Columba’s, Kent in 2015, he rediscovered his love of preaching, fell in love with the Daily Office and the work of the College for Congregational Development, and ultimately could no longer ignore the call to return to ordained ministry. After a ministry internship at St. John the Baptist in West Seattle, James was ordained as a transitional deacon in December. He can’t wait to be a part of the work the Holy Spirit is doing among the people of Faith!
James and his wife, Mirabella Maeve, met at Union Theological Seminary in New York. She is Dean of the Iona School and Canon Missioner for Congregational Transitions for the Diocese. Their adult daughter, Aurora Hope, will be moving with them to Poulsbo, along with their beloved Lhasa Apso, Bella.
Please join us in welcoming The Rev. Wyatt to his new role in the Diocese, and keep all congregations experiencing transition in your prayers.
