It is a time of transition within our Diocese, and we have a new clergy transition to announce.

We are pleased to announce that The Rev. Lynne Markova has been called as priest-in-charge at St. Paul’s, Port Townsend, beginning July 15.
Lynne comes to St. Paul’s, Port Townsend, from St. Dunstan’s, Shoreline, where she has served as a transitional deacon and seminarian since September 2023. She anticipates graduating from the General Theological Seminary’s hybrid MDiv program this May. Prior to entering seminary, Lynne served in multiple ministry leadership roles at St. Mark’s Cathedral, including as Stewardship Ministry Chair, Lay Eucharist Minister, and Senior Warden for three years. She also runs a small, home-based, consulting business, specializing in change management, strategic planning, training and development, and organizational design. In her spare time, Lynne enjoys reading, cooking, visiting Farmer’s markets, and having coffee with friends.
Lynne is excited to be part of the next chapter of the vital and welcoming St. Paul’s community. She plans to relocate to Port Townsend this summer.
Please join us in welcoming The Rev. Markova to her new role in the Diocese, and keep all congregations experiencing transition in your prayers.
