Please join us in welcoming The Rev. Brian Gregory, who has been called to serve as associate priest at St. Luke’s, Seattle. Brian will begin that call on July 1, 2025.

Brian is a Seattle native and completed both his undergraduate and M.Div at Seattle Pacific University. During seminary, he served for six years as Associate for Youth Ministries at St. Thomas, Medina. Following his ordination, he was Curate at Good Samaritan, Sammamish. In 2019, Brian and his family moved to Guatemala to serve for a year with the Episcopal Church in Guatemala and an NGO called Safe Passage that works in education in the community surrounding the Guatemala City garbage dump. That year was cut short as Brian and his family moved back to Seattle suddenly in March 2020 due to Covid.
For the last four and a half years, Brian has worked for LifeCenter Northwest – the organ procurement organization serving Alaska, Washington, Northern Idaho, and Montana – providing family support and coordination for organ donation. Along with his work at LifeCenter, Brian has served as part-time Associate Rector at Emmanuel, Mercer Island. While his work in organ donation has been a fulfilling way to live out his vocation outside of parish ministry, he is thrilled to return to a parish full-time.
Brian will be joined at St. Luke’s by his wife, Kelly (a high school history teacher) and his children: Ellsley (age 10) and Westin (age 8) who are looking forward to making friends with and growing in faith with other children at St. Luke’s.
Keep Brian in your prayers as he prepares to begin his new call, along with all congregations and clergy in transition.
Brian, I am delighted for you! I am thinking back to our mini mission at St. Lukes focusing on homelessness and pleased you are back in that beautiful neighborhood to carry on this mission and so many more. Godspeed my friend!
Brian, this is such great news! May God continue to bless you and your dear family! Also, thank you for your work in the organ donation field. My father was one the first kidney transplant recipients in the Seattle area and it precipitated a spiritual rebirth I cannot begin to describe!
