Please join us in welcoming The Rev. Tom Sramek, Jr., who has been called to serve as priest-in-charge at St. Andrew’s, Aberdeen. Tom will begin that call on October 15, 2025.

The Rev. Tom Sramek, Jr. grew up on the San Francisco Peninsula in Los Altos, CA, and attended Humboldt State University (1990) and Virginia Theological Seminary (1995). More locally, he earned a certificate from the Church Development Institute (CDI, the predecessor to CCD) in our Diocese in 2008. He has served for nearly 30 years in the dioceses of California, El Camino Real, and Western Oregon before being called to serve as priest-in-charge of St. Andrew’s, Aberdeen. He was drawn to this ministry by the warmth and diversity of the congregation and the many opportunities for ministry in the Grays Harbor area. He and his wife, Lisa, are the parents of two adult daughters and a son-in-law living on the central coast of California. He enjoys computers (especially vintage Apple II and Mac), reading science fiction and fantasy, and following a dozen sailing, travel, and computer YouTube channels.

He can be reached at tomsramekjr@icloud.com.

Keep Tom in your prayers as he prepares to begin his new call, along with all congregations and clergy in transition.
