Please join us in welcoming The Rev. Jennifer King Daugherty, who has been called to serve as rector at St. Stephen’s, Seattle. Jennifer will begin that call on October 1, 2025.
The Rev. Jennifer King Daugherty has served as priest-in-charge and interim priest at St. Stephen’s since April 2024 and is delighted to enter a long-term relationship with this wonderful community. Prior to her time at St. Stephen’s, she served as a Cathedral Canon at Saint Mark’s Cathedral for nine and a half years. Her interests include Celtic spirituality, inclusive liturgy, creative approaches to scripture study, and engaging the visual arts as a spiritual practice. Jennifer earned an MDiv from Seattle University, an MBA from NYU, and a BA in Economics from Princeton University. In addition to her priestly ministry, she has worked in finance for not-for-profit hospitals for over 35 years.
Jennifer and her husband, Will, are the parents of three adult children who live in Seattle, San Francisco, and Boston. She enjoys traveling to remote places, gardening, reading, walking with their Lab, Maeve, and preparing for a new Lab puppy to arrive later this year.
