Please join us in welcoming The Rev. Myra Ryneheart Corcorran, who has been called to serve as vicar at Grace, Lopez Island. Myra will begin that call on November 30, 2025.

The Rev. Myra Ryneheart Corcorran spent her early years on a family farm in rural North Florida, where she learned to embrace the values of cherishing relationships, cultivating community, and caring for creation. Church and family have always been at the center of her life. Myra obtained a BA in Philosophy and an M.Div. from The University of the South, Sewanee, TN, where she received the seminary’s community service award for her work with labyrinths and her efforts to establish the University’s first Indigenous Peoples’ Day observances. She has lived and worked in the Pacific NW for over thirty years; during that time, Myra has served as a layperson and staff member in many capacities in Methodist, ELCA, and Episcopal churches; and in the nonprofit sector as a board member, retreat leader, grant writer, and program developer. Myra is also a Veriditas Certified Labyrinth Facilitator and labyrinth designer who has installed over sixty labyrinths, and she was a founding board member of Stillpoint at Beckside retreat center in Bellingham.

Myra most recently served as Curate at St. George, Maple Valley. Her field education was conducted at Church of the Good Shepherd, Decatur, AL. She enjoys integrating Indigenous spirituality and labyrinth ministry with her priestly calling. Prior to attending seminary, Myra worked as Communications & Operations Manager at St. Paul’s, Bellingham. Her sending parish is Christ Episcopal Church, Blaine. Myra and her husband Peter have five grown children, five adorable grandchildren, and two spoiled rotten rescue dogs. She enjoys creating and walking labyrinths, baking, writing letters, and gardening.
