The Office of the Bishop supports congregations and clergy in times of leadership transitions.

The Canon Missioner for Transitions orients congregational leadership teams to the transition process, reviews profiles and coordinates postings for open positions, and assists clergy who are in discernment about a call to new ministry. The Canon Missioner also supports congregations during their self-reflection and assessment phase. That includes providing a variety of tools to facilitate that work and working with congregations to develop parish or mission profiles. Once a call is made, the Canon Missioner works with clergy, congregational leadership teams, Canon to the Ordinary, and the bishop to finalize the call.
