The Office of the Bishop supports congregations and clergy in times of leadership transitions.

The Canon to the Ordinary orients congregational leadership teams to the transition process, reviews profiles and coordinates postings for open positions, and assists clergy who are in discernment about a call to new ministry. Once a call is made, the Canon to the Ordinary works with clergy, congregational leadership teams, and the bishop to finalize the call.

The Canon for Congregational Development supports congregations during their self-reflection and assessment phase. That includes providing a variety of tools to facilitate that work. Together, the Canon to the Ordinary and Canon for Congregational Development work with congregations to develop parish or mission profiles.
