Overcoming Racism with the Dismantling Racism Training Team
In small teams, our members meet with groups to offer support and information, as well as to provide a safe environment for discussion and reflection.
We were established in 2001 to offer support and training to diocesan groups to eradicate racism. Since then, we have conducted some 60 workshops or consultations for over 1,000 people across the diocese.

Overcoming Racism TOGETHER
- By continuing to build an inclusive church and embracing kingdom values of justice, love, healing and compassion;
- By recognizing that racism is a sin, and giving people tools to combat it;
- By welcoming and raising up people of color in membership, leadership and ministry roles.
We work with you to ensure that our diocese affirms our baptismal covenant and respects the dignity of every human being.
