Christ Church is celebrating its historic church building’s 100th anniversary this year. The current building, whose anniversary we are celebrating, is the second building for this parish founded in the 1850s. The story of its construction conveys a lesson for all parishes struggling with dwindling church membership in today’s world. Come help Christ Church celebrate on September 26 with a festive eucharist done in a manner similar to that which would have been in use in 1926, and special displays celebrating this momentous anniversary.
