Clergy are invited to join colleagues from around the Diocese of Olympia, and our siblings in Christ of the Southwestern Washington Synod and the Northwest Washington Synod of the ECLA, for this service. This is a significant liturgy among ordained leaders of the Church.

At the beginning of Holy Week, clergy gather together for a renewal of their ordination vows. As leaders who are charged with leading others through the Passion of Christ, the Resurrection and lives of continuing discipleship, this gathering together around Word and Meal affords an opportunity to be together with colleagues for renewal of vows, mutual strength and encouragement in their calling. At this liturgy the bishop asks God’s blessing on the chrism oil which will be used in the coming year for baptisms. Bishop Skelton will be preaching during this service.

A light lunch will follow, to which all are invited.
