Recently, the cost of applying for re-parole to remain in the US legally and be allowed to work, has increased by $1,000 per person. We are raising funds to help offset this cost for families that can’t afford to pay.
One of our clients, Serhii came to the US through the Uniting for Ukraine program in November 2022. Yesterday was his 3-year anniversary of coming to the US. While it was a difficult transition, as he was forced from his hometown in eastern Ukraine after it was destroyed, he is very grateful to be in America. He shared, “I have job, have church and connect with good people. I so happy we have church, house and safety.” This is just one example of the many refugees and immigrants we work with who are grateful to be here despite the uncertainty ahead.
