January 16 – 18, 2026
Join diocesan and ecumenical friends for a weekend of deep listening, prayer, and reconnection with land and water as we explore what it means to live into a watershed-based gospel and nurture our land-and-water-centered faith communities. This retreat is for those discerning a call to ecological discipleship and collaborative ministry rooted in the rivers, forests, and coastlines of Western Washington and beyond. Together, we will worship, practice attentive presence, share stories, and imagine pathways for a future Land & Water Cohort of practice.
This retreat will be led by Rev. Evan Clendenin and Rev. John Creasy of the Wild Indigo Guild, Faithful Agrarian Brian Sellers-Peterson, eco-theologian Kristen Daley-Mosier, and the diocesan Creation Justice Advisory Group.
Register today to reserve your spot!! Discounts available for church groups and/or shared rooms, with additional financial support available upon request.
Who Should Come:
Anyone already engaged or curious about land-based ministry and ecological discipleship. As we hope to launch a cohort of churches later this year, we encourage individuals or small groups (1-3) to attend from your congregation and will share more info on group discounts soon.
