The Winter Solstice is the time when the night is the longest and the return of the light longed for is the most. This backdrop may lead to complicated feelings for those who are grieving and struggling in a society that is alive with bright lights and festive atmosphere. As Christians, it is appropriate for us to make space for the pain, loneliness, and sadness that one may feel and offer it to God for healing and transformation. Join us.

A Quiet Christmas Service for Those Experiencing Grief or Difficulty at the Holidays. During the service, there will be an opportunity for participants to prayerfully memorialize those who have died for whom they may be grieving. Participants will additionally be offered the opportunity for anointing in the Sacrament of Healing for challenges they may be facing at the holidays. Communion will be provided at this service.

Every so often, we get to celebrate the final Sunday of Advent and Christmas Eve within hours of each other. This year happens to be one of those special days. Join us on the fourth Sunday of Advent at 9:15am (December 24) for this year’s annual Christmas Pageant. One Service at 10 am
There will be only one service the morning of December 24, marking the 4th Sunday of Advent. It is at 10:00 am, and comes with music and Holy Eucharist. Advent isn’t over ’till its over! Following the service, there will be a Greening of the Church, Part 2. We will change everything from Advent to Christmas for services beginning this evening.

This service is designed for families with children. It will last about 1 to 1.5 hours. There will be music and Holy Communion. We are planning a drop-in pageant for any child wanting to participate. We might even need a few adults.
