Please join us in welcoming the Rev. Joseph Peters-Mathew, who has been called to serve as Interim at St. Margaret’s, Bellevue. Joseph will begin that call on July 2.
The Rev. Joseph Peters-Mathews is a priest in the Diocese of Olympia. Joseph was ordained priest in 2012 and has served on the staffs of the presiding bishop and bishop of California. Joseph is an alumnus of General Theological Seminary and Troy University. Joseph’s call to ordination was thoroughly nurtured through involvement in campus ministry.[b][b]He is married to Brandon and they have two children, Topher and Finny. Joseph has written for Sermons that Work, Earth & Altar, and Modern Metanoia. When he is not cooking elaborate meals (accompanied by lightly breaded chicken breast morsels) Joseph likes to knit, read, and hopes to get back to refereeing soccer sooner than later.
