On Saturday, June 10, members of the Diocese of Olympia gathered at Diocesan House to celebrate Archdeacon Gen Grewell for her many years of service. You can see photos from the event below and a video slideshow that we developed in tribute to Gen’s nearly 14 years of service.

Saying Goodbye to Archdeacon Gen Grewell
Dear Gen,
I am so pleased to be able to offer you my congratulations on a truly wonderful career in Olympia. This comes with prayers that God will continue to shower you with blessings in whatever your next journey might be.
Thank you for your ministry and for showing all who know what a Deacon can truly be
A very special part of her ministry was left out – that of her wonderful, wonderful Christmas Eve talks with the children (of all ages) at the Altar at the 3 o’clock service. We came from St. Margaret’s Bellevue so our grandchildren could participate. Pat Wilshusen
