A large crowd of City and State officials, along with representatives from BRIDGE Housing and the financial and construction partners who made this possible gathered at St. Luke’s, Seattle, for the Grand Opening of the new St. Luke’s Apartments. This has been a dream of the congregation for over 9 years and many were able to celebrate the fulfillment of their vision to “Build a Place Where Love Dwells.” Soon we hope to have information on the start of the second building with more housing, affordable childcare, and a new worship and program space for the church. This is at the forefront of what is possible with God’s help and an ambitious vision for the next hundred years of the Episcopal Church.
