Interfaith Prayer in the style of Taizé

June 10, 7:00 pm

Join the people of Saint Mark’s Cathedral, in person or via livestream, as they partner with Clear Mountain Buddhist Monastery for “Living Buddha, Living Christ, Living Spirit”—An Interfaith Prayer Service in the Style of Taizé: Tuesday, June 10, 7pm in the Cathedral Nave. The liturgy is structured around the values that both traditions hold as sacred, represented by the “fruit of the Spirit” in Galatians, and the perfections (parami) of character necessary in Buddhism to achieve enlightenment. Prayers, readings, and chants from both traditions will be he highlight of this interfaith liturgy.

An informational forum in preparation for this service will take place on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at 10:10 a.m. in Bloedel Hall at Saint Mark’s Cathedral.
