In January of this year, the Anglican Episcopal Church in El Salvador began a seminary to train future priests and other church leaders. The initial class consisted of six students, and the program included a combination of long-distance learning via Skype and work with local instructors.

The El Salvador Companion Committee of the Diocese of Olympia is initiating a project to help build up the Seminary’s library so that students can have the best possible resources to help train them as future leaders and teachers of the Church in El Salvador. At the committee’s suggestion, the administrators of the Seminary set up an Amazon wish list. Subjects covered include Biblical studies, church history, preaching, evangelism, and leadership development.

To help with this initiative, please consider purchasing one or more titles by clicking on the link below. If you don’t read Spanish, try right-clicking in your browser and seeing if you have a “Translate to English” option. (Also, please note that prices listed are in Euros.) Because Amazon’s web site requires a postal code and El Salvador does not use postal codes, you may find it best to ship items to your address and then ship them to El Salvador, even though this adds some time and expense.
