On the evening of June 4, Dr. Elaine Pagels, an American historian of religion and one of the leading scholars of early Christianity and Gnosticism will discuss her book Miracles and Wonder: The Historical Mystery of Jesus, released last year. She is especially known for her work on the Nag Hammadi discovery, which revealed diverse theological perspectives within the first centuries of the church.
