St. Andrew’s Seattle is sponsoring a talk by UW Professor Dr. Liora Halperin, a distinguished historian of Israel and Palestine. Dr. Halperin’s academic work spans language ideology and policy, the politics of colonization and settlement. and Jewish cultural and social history. She is a frequent public speaker with insight into discussing events in Israel and Palestine. Her lecture at St. Andrew’s occurs on Sunday, August 17 at 11:30am and is part of our church’s “Summer of Palestinian Visibility” series.
