This is an in-person, intimate service of Holy Eucharist with the option to participate in the ancient practice of anointing and laying on of hands by a priest.
All are welcome at this service, in which clergy are invited to reaffirm their ordination vows and receive blessed chrism oil to use in their communities.
At the beginning of Holy Week, clergy gather together for a renewal of their ordination vows. As leaders who are charged with leading others through the Passion of Christ, the Resurrection, and lives of continuing discipleship, this gathering together around Word and Meal affords an opportunity to be together with colleagues for renewal of vows, mutual strength, and encouragement in their calling.
On Tuesday in Holy Week, experience a special version of the Contemplative Eucharist liturgy offered regularly on Sunday evenings.

At noon on Holy Saturday, we offer a short but moving liturgy from The Book of Common Prayer in an unfamiliar corner of the cathedral nave.
