The Diocese of Olympia is delighted to host the former Presiding Bishop of The Episcopal Church, the Right Rev. Katharine Jefferts Schori in Seattle and on the Olympic Peninsula as part of her participation in the diocesan Youth Creation Care Pilgrimage.
During the course of the pilgrimage, she will speak at the following churches:
- Sunday, August 4, 11:00am | Saint Mark’s Cathedral, Seattle

- Sunday, August 4, 7:00–8:30pm | Grace, Bainbridge Island | “Youth Making a Difference”
Bishop Katharine will talk about growing up in the Pacific Northwest and how she was inspired to become a scientist and then a faith leader. She will be joined by 16-year-old filmmaker Dylan D’Haeze who will screen his short environmental film: “Everything Connects.” Earth & Spirit, a ministry of Grace, Bainbridge, is co-sponsoring this evening.
- Wednesday, August 7, 7:00–8:30pm | St. Andrew, Port Angeles
Bishop Katharine will discuss “Science and Religion as Wisdom Traditions.”
